Drawing and illustration were major hobbies for me growing up. I was an only child with two working parents and so was often left to my own devices. Art was an integral part of my life; I could let my imagination run wild and keep myself entertained. I stepped back from art during high school and the start of college, to focus on more “professional” (i.e. boring) pursuits. Alas, art inevitably found me again as I was sucked in to the world of advertising. Finally I could marry my love for art and design with my career goals.
Digital art is a new and exciting conquest for me. To think you can actually draw things on a computer! 10 year old me, creating “abstract art” in Microsoft paint, would never.
